When you contact us, we collect data that you submit through the contact forms on our Website or that you disclose to us by other means such as orally (over a call) or in writing (in an email or other text messages). If you contact us about our services on our Website, the forms you complete or the emails you send may include information about you, such as your full name, your email address, the organisation on behalf of whom you are contacting us, and any additional information you provide.

When you subscribe to our favourite industry updates, our blog articles etc., via newsletter option, we collect your name, e-mail address and your subscription preferences.

When you apply for a job, via job ads being published on our Website, we collect information from your CV and any additional information you provide us by any written or oral means.

Maestral processes your personal data when it is in our or our clients’ legitimate interest to do so and when these interests are not overridden by your rights. Our and our clients’ legitimate interests include: having information about potential business customers organised in one searchable database and having access to up-to-date and complete information.

3.3 Necessary to fulfil an obligation under a contract

Maestral may process your data where we have a contract with the individual and we need to process their personal data to comply with our obligations under the contract.

Our companies – access to personal data within Maestral and our group of companies is restricted to those individuals who have a need to access the information for our business purposes. Our companies are: Maestral Solutions, Maestral Neatherlands and Mistral Technologies d.o.o..

Suppliers, subcontractors, service providers – we keep your information confidential, but may disclose it to suppliers or subcontractors insofar as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. However, this is on the basis that they have agreed to safeguard this information. This includes external third-party service providers, such as accountants, auditors, experts, lawyers and other outside professional advisors; technical engineers; data storage and cloud providers and similar.

Applicant Tracking System a system for tracking the job application, and other recruitment software/services or “data processors.” ATS is a data processor because it processes candidate data on behalf of our company following our instructions.

Government authorities – in addition, we may disclose your information to the extent that we are required to do so by law (which may include to government bodies and law enforcement agencies); in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings; and in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention).

Potential acquirers or investors – if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, you will be notified via prominent notice on our Website of any change in ownership or uses of this information.

If you have subscribed to our updates, we will use the email address you provided to send information about our services, recent industry updates, latest products, case studies, white papers and new blogs.

Your data will be stored until the moment you withdraw your consent or our business relationship is over, whichever happens later.

If you are sending us your information using the TalentLyft platform, when you sign up, you will receive a return email from us with a link where you can determine for yourself how long we will keep your personal information.

All CVs and/or job applications that come to us in any other way, we destroy and inform the sender to send us his/her CV or application through the TalentLyft platform.

8. Your rights as a data subject

You can change your information at any time and determine the way of how we use your information: to whom we can and to whom we cannot send your information, what information we can and which we cannot send. You have the option of deleting your account and all your information. Under the new European legislation, you can, among other things:

  • Check the status of your information, how we collect your information, who we forwarded your information to, etc. we will send you a reply within 30 days;
  • You require us to stop using your information and not to contact you in any way (not for potential employment). In any case, you will also have the option to unsubscribe from all our services;
  • You request the permanent deletion of your data from our database (right to be forgotten);

9. Use of our services by children and minors

Children cannot leave their personal data on the Website nor apply for job advertisements. Minors who have reached the age of 15 may post their personal data on the Website and may apply for job ads only with the explicit and written consent of their parents, in accordance with all applicable labor laws.

Certain areas of the Website that collect your information use it for the purpose of completing business processes, and while these are protected by an SSL security protocol between the server and your Internet browser for data transmission.

The Website uses third-party hosting centers. All our services are hosted within reputable cloud providers, such as Azure and / or AWS, and they have a responsibility to provide all of our services, as defined in a separate Service Level Agreement between the provider and us as users.

If you are a California resident, you have certain rights in respect of the personal information we may hold about you. Those rights are explained in this Policy and fully respected by Maestral.

In case that you have any other question in relation to your personal data that we may hold, you can also designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf.
